Over the weekend, will.i.am said that he actually prefers The Voice Kids over its grown-up counterpart The Voice UK (Pixie Lott agreed, but she's not a coach on both).

Tonight's (July 16) episode was full of talented auditionees - a super sassy musical theatre performance, someone who actually sang 'Non Je Ne Regrette Rien', and a hugely confident Little Mix cover to name a few - but viewers were also left feeling properly inspired.

That was down to two acts who sang tonight: Phoebe, who has type 1 diabetes, and Charlie, who has a stammer. Phoebe sang 'With You' from the musical Ghost, while Charlie performed 'Baby' by Justin Bieber and Ludacris, with both getting through to the next round:

In fact, there was such a huge level of talent tonight that almost every contestant made it onto one of the coaches' teams, with a handful of singers getting Will, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones to turn and then fight over them.

Last night saw 13-year-old Ciaran from Glasgow be marked by viewers as a very possible winner for this series, but could the champion come from tonight's batch? We think it's going to be a tough one when we start whittling them down.

Remember, The Voice Kids airs at 8pm on ITV for the next few nights.
