Voice Kids coaches have made a big mistake, say fans

From Digital Spy

ITV's The Voice Kids continued tonight (July 17) to a rumble of praise and celebration, peppered with a little doubt and criticism.

Some talented young singers won over many of those watching at home, giving us everything from operatic vocals to freestyle rapping, concluding with all three coaches filling up their team spaces.

Pardis was one of tonight's final contestants, adding a haunting edge to 'Summertime' by George Gershwin – an element which will.i.am really appreciated. It was this judge in particular who was most fond of Pardis, however, he'd unfortunately filled up the allotted spaces in his group.

Elsewhere, Mykee-D was popular on Twitter but didn't make the cut as his version of Sia's 'Opportunity' wasn't a big enough hit with the panel. A horde of viewers were quick to defend the young man, whose performance garnered a great deal of praise.

Some were even accusing the coaches of making a huge mistake.

Wales-born Jimmy was another fan favourite tonight, sailing through the audition process and gaining a spot on Pixie Lott's team. The pop singer herself was over the moon with her choice, joining many online fans in celebrating Jimmy's talent.

The Voice Kids continues tomorrow (July 18) at 8pm on ITV.
