Thanks to ITV's decision to air The Voice Kids over the course of one week, tonight's episode (July 19) demonstrated even more phenomenal talent from the youngsters taking part in the series as the Battle Rounds came to an end.
Over two nights, coaches will.i.am, Pixie Lott and Danny Jones were asked to whittle down their teams and pick just four acts each to go through to tomorrow night's Semi-Final after battling it out in a group performance.
Only one person from each battle trio could go through after each performance so, by the end of play on Thursday, here's how those teams were shaping up.
On Team Will, we have 14-year-old Sienna-Leigh, 10-year-old Mandy, 11-year-old Yaraoslav and 11-year-old Kori:
Team Danny welcomes 9-year-old Brooke, 14-year-old Drew, 13-year-old Lucy and 14-year-old Harry:
Texas-born Harry got through to the Battles with his performance of @NiallOfficial's 'Too Much To Ask' and he's impressed again in his Battle! See you in the Semi-Finals 💪🎸 #TheVoiceKidsUK pic.twitter.com/wJGoQ10AHD- The Voice Kids UK (@thevoicekidsuk) July 19, 2018
As for reigning champion Team Pixie, we have 14-year-old Daniel, 10-year-old Lilia, 14-year-old Alice and 14-year-old Will:
"Alice, your voice, I just love it. There are no other words for it."- The Voice Kids UK (@thevoicekidsuk) July 19, 2018
A super tough decision for @PixieLott but in the end, it's Alice that won the Battle! 👏🎉 #TheVoiceKidsUK pic.twitter.com/vVRuwOTL3s
The remaining contestants will now sing again in tomorrow night's Semi-Final for a chance to perform in Saturday's live Final, when we'll find out who's been crowned the winner of The Voice Kids' second season.
This year's winner will receive a £30,000 bursary towards their music education as well as a trip to Disneyland Paris for them and their family.
The Voice Kids continues tomorrow night (July 20) at 8pm on ITV.
