Tonight's (February 23) edition of The Voice UK welcomed the first round of The Battles, but it was the judges' clothes that captured the biggest audience interest.

Over the course of this series, some viewers have been noticing that the judging panel – consisting of Welsh legend Sir Tom Jones, Olly Murs, Black Eyed Peas' man will.i.am and Jennifer Hudson – had been wearing the same clothes during every episode of the Blind Auditions.

Whether or not this was just a continuity process behind the scenes or just that the judges have copious amounts of the same clothes (you never know) is yet to be confirmed.

Either way, Twitter folks were clearly happy to see their favourite singers looking fresh tonight.

Check out some of the relieved posts floating around on social media.

The judges repeated outfits throughout the audition process has been noted before by irate viewers – so much so that the show's Twitter account hilariously trolled them with a mock apology.

"It's true," they wrote. "Our judges have been wearing the same clothes for six weeks now."

"We are looking forward to consciously uncoupling with these outfits and revealing new looks at The Battles."

Fans certainly seem to be happy that the judges have delivered on this promise – and we're sure the coaches are pleased about finally being allowed to change their clothes too.

Fair warning though: the coaches will now be wearing these clothes for the next few weeks too.

"PSA: They will be wearing these outfits for the next three (3) weeks," the official account tweeted. "Don't @ us."

The Voice UK returns next Saturday (March 2) at 8pm on ITV.
