A volunteer at an animal rehabilitation center in Yolosa, Bolivia, said she became a mom to two orphaned spectacled bear cubs after their mothers were killed in illegal trafficking activity.

Gosia Zdziechowska said she became a surrogate to the rescued “Paddington Bear” cubs, posting a video of her nursing Chojnita, the female cub, to her YouTube channel, Polish Dr Dolittle.

The volunteer said the three-month-old was “weak, malnourished and sick” when first brought to the centre by police, but added that she was “very strong and quickly gained her health.”
