Voters in Northumberland invited to quiz candidates ahead of General Election

Candidates in two of Northumberland's four constituencies are set to face the public in a series of hustings events ahead of the General Election.

Residents in Hexham and North Northumberland will get their chance to put questions to the men and women vying to be their next MP, with a number of events being held at venues across the two constituencies. However, there are currently no plans for any events in either the Cramlington & Killingworth or Ashington & Blyth constituencies.

There are three hustings events in the Hexham constituency and two in North Northumberland. The Local Democracy Reporting Service has rounded up all the details the public need to attend.
