Wait, Florence Pugh’s Brother Was in ‘Game of Thrones?’

It’s been a massive year for actress Florence Pugh. Not only did she star in Greta Gerwig’s adaptation of Little Women, but she was nominated for an Oscar for her work. As it turns out, she’s not the only talented actor in the family, though.

It recently came to light that the 24-year-old Oscar-nominee’s brother, Toby Sebastian Pugh, appeared in season five of Game of Thrones. (Their two sisters, Arabella and Rafaela, are also actresses.) Yep, that’s one gifted family.

Toby Sebastian, 27, starred in six episodes of the erstwhile HBO series before, in typical GoT fashion, he was killed off.

He played Trystane Martell, Prince Doran Martell of Dorne’s (Alexander Siddig) heir and eldest son. In case you need a refresher, his character was engaged to Princess Myrcella Baratheon (Nell Tiger Free) and he was killed by Obar Sand (Keisha Castle-Hughes) during the Dornish coup. Specifically, he got a spear through the skull and Myrcella kicked the bucket soon after.

He also starred as Andrea Bocelli in the 2017 biopic The Music of Silence alongside Antonio Banderas and in the 2017 John Travolta film Trading Paint.

Judging from his Instagram account, Toby Sebastian has become more involved in music than acting these days. His grid is full of videos of him singing and playing guitar and it appears he recently released a single called “Train to Mexico” and an album called Hamliar.  The tune is already on the radio in the U.K., so that’s promising.

It looks like 2020 is going to be quite a year for the Pugh siblings and their careers. Now, if you’ll excuse us, we’re off to enjoy a Little Women and Game of Thrones season five double feature.
