Waitrose issues 'do not eat warning' after health risk discovered in product

Waitrose is recalling one of its vegetarian products as it may contain an undeclared ingredient that poses a serious health risk.

The supermarket giant is recalling its GoVeggie Tomato & Mozzarella Arancini after it was discovered it may contain wheat which is not mentioned on the label.

As a result, the product is a possible health risk for anyone with coeliac disease or an allergy or intolerance to wheat or gluten.

The Food Standards Agency (FSA) has issued an immediate "do not eat" warning to anyone who purchased the item and advised affected customers to return it to the store from where it was purchased for a full refund.
