Wales opened the new era under Craig Bellamy with a 0-0 draw against Turkey, but it was an exciting performance in many ways. Here's how the players rated. You can read the match report here.

Danny Ward 7

Didn't really have a save to make until the end, but pretty comfortable with the ball at his feet.

Connor Roberts 8

Pressed brilliantly out of possession. No player made more tackles. A real threat on the overlap going forward too.

Joe Rodon 8

Stood up so well defensively, and completely rattled Yilmaz in the first half. Missed a great chance early on, mind.

Ben Davies 8

Did everything asked of him all night. A colossal performance.

Neco Williams 7

Really assured in possession. Was caught out a couple of times defensively, but otherwise a pretty accomplished outing.

Jordan James 7

Was at the heart of his side's midfield. Another solid outing in a Wales shirt.

Ethan Ampadu 8

Was given far more opportunity to express himself in the holding midfield role. Tidy in possession all evening.

Harry Wilson 8

So often at the heart of everything good about Wales in the final third. A lively outing that deserved a little more.

Aaron Ramsey 8 - STAR MAN

An outstanding performance in the false nine role. Held up the ball brilliantly. Played others in with some superb passes, and was a threat in the box too. Ran out of steam a little in the second half, but his best performance for Wales for some time. Subbed.

Sorba Thomas 8

A real bright spark in the front three all night. Made some great runs, and showed no fear in taking his man on. A strong return to the international fold. Subbed.

Brennan Johnson 7

A thorn in the side of Turkey all evening. Finishing looked a little rusty, but plenty of signs of promise there.

Subs:

Lewis Koumas (on for Thomas 72) - Looked lively when he came on. Wasn't afraid to take his man on, and put a couple of decent balls into the box - 7

Kieffer Moore (on for Ramsey 72) - Put himself about typically well. A big presence in the box when he came on - 7

Ollie Cooper (on for James 88) - N/A
