The Walking Dead season 8 episode 2 trailer: All Out War continues in action-packed promo for 'The Damned'

The Walking Dead season eight is officially underway having debuted a premiere episode - the show's 100th ever - we described as “taut, thrilling and disarmingly optimistic“ (you can find the full review here).

Going by the action-packed promo for episode two, it seems the thrills are in no danger of waning as the battle against Negan and his Saviours rages on.

While the premiere featured every one of the show's large ensemble cast, this second outing - titled 'The Damned' - will spend more time catching up with some of them, namely Carol (Melissa McBride) and King Ezekiel (Khary Payton).

At one stage, the former can be heard telling the group rousingly: “We have come this far - our first victory will allow our second; our second will deliver our third.”

Elsewhere, it seems as if Jesus (Tom Payne) will lock heads with Tara (Alana Masterson) while Daryl (Norman Reedus) will be teaming up with right-hand man Rick like the old days.

The trailer ends on an ominous note with Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) telling an unseen presence: “We need to win it all.”

The Walking Dead season eight continues in the US next Sunday on AMC and airs in the UK tonight (23 October) on FOX and NOW TV at 9pm.
