'The Walls Are Not Edible': Life-Sized Gingerbread House Constructed by Police Department Employee

An employee of the San Diego Police Department took the Christmas spirit to a new level by constructing a life-sized gingerbread house around their desk.

The police department shared a video of the gingerbread house, which wrapped around the employee’s desk and was covered with colorful button and candy cane decorations.

The ‘house’ featured two tinsel-lined windows through which the employee could communicate with colleagues, complete with a mail box sign underneath one of the windows.

“One of our employees in communications decided to celebrate the holiday season by decorating her entire cubical as a life sized gingerbread house!” the police department said. “Unfortunately, the walls are not edible.” Credit: San Diego Police Department via Storyful
