Walmart employees in Mooresville, North Carolina, walked out of work on Black Friday, November 26, to strike for higher wages and better working conditions.

The employees held a protest outside a Walmart Neighborhood Market location in Mooresville calling for an increase in wages to $15 an hour, the right to unionize, paid time off, and increased COVID-19 safety measures and PPE, local reports said.
