"The infamous Agatha Harkness finds herself down and out of power after a suspicious goth teen helps her break free from a distorted spell," reads the official logline for the series.

"Her interest is piqued when he begs her to take him on the legendary Witches' Road, a magical gauntlet of trials that, if survived, rewards a witch with what they're missing.

"Together, Agatha and this mysterious teen pull together a desperate coven, and set off down, down, down The Road."

The spine-tingling trailer sees Agatha begin an investigation on a dead body found in the woods. While learning to deal without her powers, Agatha forms a friendship with Plaza's mysterious character.

"Is this really how you see yourself?" she asks Agatha. "That witch is gone, leaving you trapped in her distorted spell. Claw your way out."

"I miss the glory days," says a frustrated Agatha, determined to attempt a dangerous gauntlet of trials known as Witches' Road. "She took every bit of power I had, and I can be that witch again."

Madness ensues as Agatha forms a new coven of witches to help her regain her powers.

"What witch in her right mind would join Agatha Harkness' coven?" asks LuPone's character, with Agatha replying: "I'm not looking for right-minded witches."

Marvel Studios executive producer Brad Winderbaum recently revealed that fans might need a cushion to hide behind as the show is set to give you a range of emotions.

"Agatha is really fun, but it's really scary. And it gets quite dramatic," he said on The Official Marvel Podcast.

"She's an amazing anti-hero. It lures you in with the fun of Halloween, and before you know it, you're crying."

Agatha All Along premieres its first two episodes on Wednesday, September 18 on Disney+, with new episodes following weekly.
