Tom shares a son and a daughter with wife Kelsey, and he revealed some of the challenges they've faced: "I spent three months of last year just laying in that bed," he said. "There was just so much to contend with. You're not just dealing with cancer, you're dealing with how other people can treat you.
"There's so much running through my mind. I don't want people to treat me differently because I've got something."
The show also saw Tom receive positive news that his tumour had shrunk from his doctor and followed Tom as he prepared to reunite with his bandmates from The Wanted for a special show at The Royal Albert Hall in aid of Stand Up To Cancer, also featuring the likes of McFly, Liam Payne, Sigrid and Ed Sheeran.

Fans took to Twitter to praise Tom and his family, with one saying: "Tom Parker you and your family are so brave and strong. Hard watch after losing my mum to this but nice to see someone raising awareness to gbm #InsideMyHead".
Dancing on Ice's James Jordan shared a personal story and thanked Tom, saying: "Anyone else watching Tom Parker Inside my Head? What a wonderful man and family with such a positive outlook on life in the darkest of times. It’s a horrific disease and I think he’s an amazing human to raise more awareness to the same cancer that took my hero – DAD."
