The next series of ITV's Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? now has an official premiere date on ITV.

This is great news for general knowledge quizzers, because it's so close you can almost touch it.

Posted on the official ITV Twitter account, the announcement reads: "Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? returns for five nights throughout the week starting Monday 4 March at 9pm on ITV."

Basically, you've got just over two weeks to gear up for five nights of dry Jeremy Clarkson humour – coupled with some bizarre moments like this.

It's not to be missed.

Have you ever wondered how the 'Phone-A-Friend' option actually works on the show? Surely the person sitting at home has access to Google, right?

Well, think again, because it's been confirmed that a team of Millionaire's top security workers venture out to the person-in-question's household to keep tabs on them.

Don't worry though, it doesn't involve handcuffs or anything... they're just monitored.

Clarkson has also been in the news recently for his antics outside of Millionaire, after he responded to singer Will Young's claim that the trio of presenters on The Grand Tour promote homophobia.

In typical Clarkson tradition, he moulded the situation into something of a joke.
