Poor War Machine didn't have the best luck at the end of Captain America: Civil War, having been left paralysed after a horrific accident.

However, he will most definitely be back in Avengers: Infinity War, and it seems he's made a miraculous recovery too – it is Marvel, guys, what else did you expect?

Captain James Rhodes actor Don Cheadle has revealed how his character will regain his legs in the movie, and it's all thanks to Tony Stark.

"When you have somebody like Tony, who is a master of tech and can create things that can get you over the hump, then you can walk again," he told Good Morning America.

He described the tech as "fake", adding with the help of co-star Mark Ruffalo: "It's an augmentation. It's semi-bionic."

"I'm like Lee Majors, but twice," Cheadle added in reference to The Six Million Dollar Man, joking: "I'm like the 12 million dollar man."

While the actor was close-guarded about any spoilers, Ruffalo was less so when he possibly gave away the ending to Infinity War, much to Cheadle's annoyance.

Though our money is on the likelihood that it was a sly publicity stunt.

Avengers: Infinity War will be released on April 27, 2018 in the UK – and the US will get it a few days later, on May 4.
