Warehouse worker, 22, wakes up to shock of his life with £42k win
Warehouse worker Ruben Pope could have been forgiven for thinking he was still dreaming after waking up to discover he had won a car worth £42,000. Ruben, from Stoke-on-Trent, received the shock of his life when he bagged himself an Audi RSQ3 Vorsprung Sportback in a competition which cost him nothing to enter.
The 22-year-old had to be woken up by his partner because BOTB presenter Christian Williams was calling to surprise him about his big win. “I’ve never won anything like this, so I’m still flabbergasted,” he said.
“It's the best news I’ve had all year. At my age, this is life-changing. Because I’m a warehouse worker, I work nights and lates, so I was still half asleep when Christian phoned me.”

“To own a car like this is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity, and I’m going to love every second of driving it about,” Ruben added, who won the car in the newly-launched BOTB competition.
Christian said: “A massive congratulations to Ruben for winning this stunning free car. It was definitely a surprise which was worth being woken up for.
“Ruben couldn’t help but marvel at how good his new car looked, so we are sure the delivery day can’t come soon enough.”
BOTB hands over the keys to a dream car each week as well as a lifestyle prize. It also offers people the chance to win a holiday, cash, tech, cars and more in its Instant Wins Competition.
