Warning as A444 Bedworth bypass four-night closure starts tonight
Motorists are being warned that the planned closure of part of the A444 Bedworth Bypass starts tonight. The busy stretch of road will be closed from its junctions with M6 Junction 3 to the Griff Roundabout.
Warwickshire County Council has put a traffic order in place as of tonight (Monday, October 21). This is for roadworks, which will take place over the next four nights.
The closure will run from 8pm and 6am on tonight until the morning of Friday, October 25. Contractors will be out replacing all of the studs on the main stretch of road.

All of the road markings are also set to be replaced. The stretch of road is one of the busiest in the borough.
A diversion has been put in place, that will take traffic through Bedworth to get to and from the Griff Island.
There are further works planned, further along the A444 on Griff Way in Nuneaton. There will be lane closure in place between October 28 and October 29.
