Warwick Davis the Star Wars star takes snap with fans on holiday in Cornwall

Warwick Davis has been captured smiling for a picture with fans while on holiday in Cornwall. The TV legend, whose wife tragically passed away two months ago, was happy to stop for a snap with a young family in Newquay.

The 54-year-old, who is the highest-grossing supporting actor of all time and has appeared in Blockbusters like Star Wars, Harry Potter and The Chronicles of Narnia, was donning an all-blue outfit.

Happy to stop for a picture, Newquay mum Jade Horsley got behind the lens to take this snap of the English actor with her children at The Boathouse - a street food restaurant on the beach at the popular coastal resort.

She said Warwick Davis was an "awesome guy" who told them he was on holiday in the area. The father-of-three, who has been acting since he was aged 12, paid tribute to his late wife last month after her death in March

Samantha Davis died aged 53 with Warwick announcing the news in a statement shared with the BBC, revealing she had died on March 24. Samantha co-founded the dwarfism charity Little People UK and featured in the final Harry Potter film, alongside Warwick. “Her passing has left a huge hole in our lives as a family. I miss her hugs,” Warwick said in the statement.

He added that she was his “most trusted confidant and an ardent supporter of everything I did in my career”. The actor continued: “She was a unique character, always seeing the sunny side of life she had a wicked sense of humour and always laughed at my bad jokes.”

Warwick, who lives near Peterborough in Cambridgeshire, has appeared in a huge host of Blockbuster movies during his more than four decades in the industry He has been a part of the Star Wars and Leprechaun franchises and most famously played three different characters throughout the Harry Potter movies.

Davis initially portrayed a Gringotts bank employee who gave Hagrid access to the vault containing the sorcerer's stone. In his early career, he appeared in the cult-classic Labyrinth before playing the protagonist in the Ron Howard-directed Willow movie. Other successes followed with roles in such projects as Prince Caspian and the Voyage of the Dawn Treader.

In total, he's been in more than 40 movies which have earned him the title of the highest-grossing supporting actor of all time. More recently you can find him presenting the British game show series Tenable on ITV1 which he's been doing since 2016 at the Worldwide Box Office, with his movies bringing him in $14,455,880,175.
