Monday, August 21 will forever go down in history as the day when Welsh pop goddess Bonnie Tyler unironically sang 'Total Eclipse of the Heart' during an actual eclipse.

A solar eclipse usually comes just once in a lifetime, if that, so it only made sense for Royal Caribbean cruise line to celebrate the occasion in the most literal way possible. Watch the amazing moment below:

Those aboard the aptly-named Total Eclipse Cruise from Orlando to the Caribbean on Monday had the pleasure of seeing Bonnie belt out her biggest hit right as the moon covered the sun.

Such a special occasion called for a very special collaboration, so Royal Caribbean shelled out the big bucks to hire Joe Jonas and his band DNCE to back up Bonnie.

In order for the song to perfectly coincide with the eclipse, a few practical changes had to be made - as Bonnie revealed last week ahead of the big gig.

"The eclipse of the sun lasts 2 minutes and 40 seconds, I'm told. Unlike my song," she explained. "It had to be chopped about, because it was so long. I never thought it would be played on the radio, in the beginning."
