Cats and Star Wars are both equally amazing, so putting them together seems like the best thing to do ever.

And it turns out the result is as brilliant as you would imagine, as one YouTuber managed to get their cats to recreate that iconic scene in The Empire Strikes Back.

Copying Darth Vader's paternal confession to Luke Skywalker frame-for-frame, the clip ends with the Luke cat screaming the iconic, "Nooo!"

Kudos to the creators for managing to get the kitties to move perfectly in time - we imagine it took a lot of takes!

If you are in need of even more of a Star Wars fix, then Rogue One is still in cinemas – and is still raking in the dough too.

The movie has now scooped more than $1 billion at the worldwide box office, hitting $512.2 million in North America and $499.1 million overseas over the weekend.

It received strong reviews across the board, including from Digital Spy, despite the fact on of its scenes was added at the last minute.

Meanwhile, hype is now gearing up for the next main installment in the franchise, Episode VIII, which still has no confirmed title.

Following the tragic passing of Carrie Fisher, it has also been confirmed that Princess Leia will not be digitally recreated in future sequels.

Star Wars: Episode VIII will be released on December 15 this year.
