On Wednesday, the singer-songwriter debuted a music video to her newest release "I Luv It" featuring rapper Playboi Carti. The track is the first release from Cabello's forthcoming album, which is set for release this summer.
In the music video to "I Luv It," directed by Nicolás Méndez at CANADA, Cabello, 27, appears to be in her villain era as she pours herself a glass of gasoline and drinks it, is chased by the police dogs and seemingly fantasizes about taking a gun and destroying her bed by firing bullets — all due to a broken heart.
In the end, Cabello is in a hospital waiting room after an arrow was shot through her heart.

“Certain things in our human realm do make me feel like I’m in outer space, and the very rare few times where I’ve had incredible chemistry with someone is one of them," she said in a press release.
Adding, "Part of that cocktail is also the emotional drama between you and that person, and the chaos and butterflies and nerves and passion. It’s unsustainable and not peaceful and exhausting, but also, I LUV IT.”
In February, Cabello's fans pieced together that she was posing in a dance studio in the Dominican Republic — meaning something was coming soon — from a few photos she shared showing off her new blonde hair.
She had also wiped her Instagram which indicated her album era as she began posting moody new photos.

During an interview with Puss Puss that same month, Cabello opened up about her new album — which will follow 2022's Familia — and said it's "part of a kind of reinvention."
“It’s me sitting with this feeling of understanding that I feel really confused as a 26-year-old who I really felt I was in love with this person," Cabello, who dated Shawn Mendes on and off for years before splitting last year, told the outlet.
"Now I feel kind of lonely and small and weird, but at the same time, I’m an adult and I feel so strong in other areas of my life, but not this one. There’s just the wrestling of those feelings without it being kind of neat or in a box. You can’t really say that it’s a sad song, you can’t really pin it down. It’s just kind of me wrestling with these feelings and me kind of being really present on a particular feeling and exploring it. I feel like a lot of songs on the album are that.”
