WATCH: Ed Sheeran Gives Impromptu Performance At Johnny McDaid's Sister's Wedding

We mean, on top of the fact that they will probably get you really good Christmas presents, they also have their famous mates that they might just bring along to your wedding.

Yes, Ed Sheeran accompanied Snow Patrol’s Johnny McDaid to his sister Brid’s wedding over the weekend and even ended up getting up on stage to perform 2006 Snow Patrol hit ‘Chasing Cars’.

Johnny’s sister and her husband, Sandy Statham, were married in Northern Ireland and Ed decided to join the singer when he treated guests to a 30 minute set, which also included a rendition of Stevie Wonder’s 'Superstition’.

Conor Donnelly, manager of the Country House venue, told The Mirror: “We enjoyed a wonderful day to celebrate the beautiful garden wedding of the happy couple, Brid and Sandy.

"The sun was out in force and so were the stars who wowed the guests with their talent and crowned off what was a fantastic wedding celebration.

"The wedding guests were treated to very special performance which was fitting for such a great occasion.”

And Ed isn’t the only celeb to crash Brid and Sandy’s wedding as Johnny was also joined by his fiancee, Friends star Courteney Cox, with the couple being spotted in a local Sainsburys in the area over the weekend.
