Everton go in search of a first win of the season when they welcome Crystal Palace to Goodison Park. Buoyed by the news that The Friedkin Group have agreed to end two years of ownership uncertainty, Sean Dyche's side have been handed a big boost before kick-off.

The match will be the first time Everton have played since the Friedkins announced their intention to buy the club. The Toffees will now be hoping to make use of the much-needed positivity on the pitch.

Despite ending last season well, Oliver Glasner's Palace are also winless five matches in - with six teams in total still searching for an elusive victory - and only start the day two points ahead of Everton. A win for the home side could see them leap up the table to 14th if other Premier League results go their way.
