Yesterday's livestream reveal from Bungie dished the deets on Destiny 2, which will be hopping onto shelves in less than 4 months. Where did the time go?
There was a tonne of fresh information to sponge: from the introduction of in-game clan support to the puzzling news that Destiny 2's PC version will be delivered via Blizzard's Battle.net.
So, it seems that Guardians looking to migrate from the first game over to the sequel can look forward to myriad improvements.
We're composing all the livestream's announcements, and will bring you the full Destiny 2 story really soon. In the meantime, feast your eyes on the game's first true gameplay trailer.
Destiny 2 begins with the destruction of the Tower by the Cabal, leaving the Guardians nomadic. Players will be tasked with taking back their home using new sets of deadly toys and abilities.
Everything's looking suitably kinetic and Destiny-like, but the real question will be whether Destiny 2 can maximise its potential from the beginning, unlike the first game.
Destiny 2 wends its way to Xbox One, PS4, and PC on September 8.
