Cape Town - Australian Instagram influencer Tammy Hembrow has broken her silence after leaving Kylie Jenner’s 21st birthday party in an ambulance.
Tammy befriended the Kardashians when working on a campaign for Khloé Kardashian’s denim brand Good American.
In a video uploaded to her YouTube page on Sunday, Tammy explains why she was carried out of the party, which took place at a club called Delilah, on a stretcher and taken to the hospital in an ambulance.
“So, firstly I just want to let everyone know that I'm okay. I've had a lot of concerned followers messaging me and asking if I'm just all right. So, I just want to clear that up and say, ‘Yes, I'm okay,’” Tammy first says.
She then goes on to explain that she was totally exhausted and had been awake for a minimum of 30 hours, adding that work and her two kids have been keeping her busy round the clock.
The 24-year-old split with fiancé Reece Hawkins in June and revealed to her fans that the breakup has also taken its toll.
“I think because of the breakup I've been trying to keep myself busy and not really taking time to think about how I'm actually feeling or focusing on myself kind of thing. I probably, definitely shouldn't have been drinking because of how jet-lagged I was, because of how exhausted I was, and I already wasn't feeling well at all.”
Tammy further addressed assumptions and nasty comments made about the incident, saying: “You just never know what someone is going through, so it's just a reminder to be kind always.”
The fitness model ended the video by thanking all her fans for their support.
