How to watch Glastonbury Festival 2019 live on TV

The UK's biggest music festival is back after what feels like an impossibly long break.

Glastonbury is set to welcome 200,000 festival-goers next week when it returns after two years out of action.

But, like always, tickets were like gold dust and there are thousands of budding festival-goers who will be left stuck at home while those lucky few who managed to snatch up tickets head off to Somerset.

So for those who will be forced to watch from home, here's how you can keep up with all the best performances.

When is Glastonbury 2019?

The festival will run from Wednesday June 26 to Sunday June 30.

Who's on the Glastonbury 2019 line up?

Frankly, loads. More than 2,800 acts will perform across 79 stages for the five days.

The Pyramid Stage will see headline performances from Stormzy, The Killers and The Cure, while some of the other standout acts include George Ezra, Liam Gallagher, Vampire Weekend, Ms Lauryn Hill and Janet Jackson.

The Other Stage will play host to Tame Impala, The Chemical Brothers, Christine and the Queens, Two Door Cinema Club, Dave and Billie Eilish, among others.

Elsewhere Janelle Monáe tops the West Holts Stage, The Streets will play on the John Peel Stage, the Park Stage will host Cat Power, Carl Cox goes B2B with Jamie Jones at Arcadia’s Pangea, Four Tet headlines Wow, and much, much more.

Where is Glastonbury Festival?

As ever, this year will all take place within a massive site on Worthy Farm, near to the Somerset town of Glastonbury and around 100 miles south-west of central London.

How to watch Glastonbury on TV and online

Thankfully, the BBC will be showing more than 30 hours of festival coverage across BBC1, BBC2 and BBC4.

BBC2 will broadcast highlights of the three headliners' Pyramid Stage sets, while BBC1 is set to show Kylie Minogue's performance on the Sunday.

Coverage runs from Thursday until Monday and will feature more than 100 performances on iPlayer.

The newly launched radio channel BBC Radio Glastonbury will give listeners the chance to hear live performances from Radio 1, 1Xtra, Radio 2, 5 Live and 6 Music through its BBC Sounds app.

Presenters include Annie Mac, Clara Amfo, DJ Target, Edith Bowman, Gemma Cairney, Huw Stephens, Jack Saunders, James Ballardie, Jo Whiley, Laura Whitmore, Lauren Laverne, Mark Radcliffe, Sir Spyro, Steve Lamacq, Yasser and Zoe Ball.

The Red Button will allow you to watch highlights from the different stages, while on-demand options will also be available.
