After weeks of an ominous teaser containing no new footage, Bravo has at last unleashed a glorious full trailer for “The Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip: RHONY Legacy.”
The limited Peacock anthology series reunites iconic cast members from the original run of “The Real Housewives of New York City,” including Kelly Killoren Bensimon, Luann de Lesseps, Dorinda Medley, Sonja Morgan, Ramona Singer and Kristen Taekman.

While the keys to “RHONY” have been handed to a new cast of women, the original group jet off to St. Barths in a move that directly invokes their iconic trip to St. John in the Season 3 episodes known as “Scary Island.” Pirate line dancing, disco nights, water sports and plenty of sand-in-bikini moments await. Almost instantly in the trailer, personalities and cocktails and catchphrases fly as the women reunite and explore the local talent. Conflict arises indeed.
“Eagles don’t fly with pigeons,” an off-pause Medley barks at Taekman over a tropical brunch, in what we’re guessing will be one of her most memorable turns of phrase from the new show. Released on Sunday afternoon, the trailer was screened first in Las Vegas at BravoCon to wild fanfare, as all the women (minus the embattled Ramona Singer) were present on stage for a panel with Bravo superfan and actor Michael Rapaport.
That Singer was ousted from BravoCon after saying a racial slur to a reporter wasn’t addressed during the panel, and she’s not a huge presence in the trailer either. An audience questioner asked about Bethenny Frankel’s so-called “reality reckoning,” which she referred to as a “takedown” — but Rapaport shut it down, and wouldn’t let the women answer. “There ain’t no takedown — does this look like a fucking takedown?” he shouted, gesturing at the audience.
Bensimon interrupted, though, and said, “By the way, she just emailed me, and asked me if I would be on her podcast. And you know what I said? ‘I’ll revisit it in 2025.'”
Rapaport asked his panel who each would consider the “MVP of fun” on the trip. Medley said she and de Lesseps, while Taekman voted for Morgan. The series will premiere Dec 14., with three episodes available to stream immediately. New episodes will hit every Thursday thereafter.
Shed Media produces the series, with Lisa Shannon, Dan Peirson, John Paparazzo, Lauren Volonakis and Barrie Bernstein serving as executive producers.
