HGTV series 100 Day Hotel Challenge finds real-life couple Brian and Mika Kleinschmidt going head-to-head to renovate neighboring hotels on the North Carolina coast. After three episodes, Mika and her team of HGTV all-stars are poised to run away with the competition (and the $50,000 prize for charity).
This week, Mika is joined by Lauren Makk (Urban Oasis) and Scott McGillivray (Vacation House Rules), while Brian brings along Mike and Denese Butler (Fix My Frankenhouse). The teams have the tall order of renovating the outdoor spaces of the hotels. The project gives them the opportunity to elevate the properties into resort-like spaces, with special amenities that can generate additional income for the owners. While Brian and Mika's hotels have plenty of space, their budgets are very limited, and they only have 15 days before Property Brothers Drew and Jonathan Scott arrive to give their verdicts.
While the projects are stressful and bring with them unexpected challenges, the crew manages to have a lot of fun. In this exclusive clip, Mika, Lauren, and Scott sneak up on Brian and his team to spy on the competition (and even rewrite the hotel's sign with a funny message).
