James Corden's aerial duet with Frozen's Kristen Bell didn't quite go as planned.
On yesterday's (March 28) episode of The Late Late Show, the two of them attempted to deliver a rendition of Joe Cocker and Jennifer Warnes's 'Up Where We Belong'.
Only problem was, neither of them were quite in sync.
As the two of them went up and down, never at the same time, they eventually met at the top as the song was about to wrap, before Kristen was slowly lowered down as James was left up in the air.
"That was an absolute disaster. Who was responsible for this? We rehearsed it and rehearsed it and rehearsed it," James ranted.
But it's fine, no-one is getting sacked as it was clearly all a sketch planned out in advance – and if it wasn't, then James and Kristen deserve Emmys for keeping their composure.
Their duet isn't the only intended mistake to happen on a US TV chat show recently, after an interview with JJ Abrams went very wrong on Jimmy Fallon.
He was on the show to promote the US transfer of hit West End show The Play That Goes Wrong and, in hilarious fashion, his interview swiftly went very wrong as the play's creators were introduced.
At least there were no such errors in Corden's Red Nose Day Carpool Karaoke with Take That.
