If there's one thing The Voice's Jennifer Hudson can do, it's sing - and in this clip taken from Sunday night's show (February 26), it seems the coach herself wants to give contestants and audiences a little reminder of that fact.

Sat in her spinning, red chair, the Dreamgirls actress bursts into an impromptu performance of her 2008 hit 'Spotlight'.

And we think it's fair to say she's quite enjoying herself. Take it from the top, girl.

Jennifer can be seen in between judging acts when the audience encourages her to drop a tune of her own.

After asking what she should sing and receiving a very enthusiastic reaction from one fan in the crowd, Jennifer launched into a version of the song and whipped out her phone to record the audience as they joined in.

Prompting her fellow judges Will, Tom and Gavin to follow suit, J-Hud then said: "Take me to the bridge!"

Then the band kicked in and it was officially 'a thing'. Talk about stealing the show...

All that's left was the standing ovation at the finish, and for J-Hud to humblebrag just a little about her vocally tight performance.

"Was I even close to the right key?" she asked. "I was? Hell yeah!"

The Voice UK is airing the all-important battle rounds this weekend where each team will be cut in half as contestants go head-to-head in a sing-off to secure their place in next week's live knockout rounds.

The Voice UK airs on ITV.
