Kaley Cuoco has proven her Big Bang Theory credentials in some style.

Appearing on last night's (May 3) The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Kaley was asked by an audience member if she knew the lyrics to the long-running sitcom's theme tune.

Since she's been on it since the very start, of COURSE she knew all the lyrics and, for good measure, she sung it too.

It's not the only time that the theme tune has been in the news recently as The Simpsons celebrated their 30th anniversary by parodying The Big Bang Theory's song with new lyrics:

"The whole FOX network was in a hot, dense state. Then nearly 14 billion years ago, they began a TV show. Bart tried to sell his soul, Lisa turned to vegetables, Grampa started fighting bulls, Springfield built a wall (The Who played on the top).

"Carl, Lenny, Barney, Moe and a fat, bald guy who hollers, 'D'oh!'. That all started with The Simpsons (D'oh)!"

It's probably lucky that Kaley knows the original theme tune so well though since she'll be hearing it for another two years at least, after it was confirmed in March that The Big Bang Theory will continue through to its 12th season.

Kaley signed the two-year deal with Johnny Galecki and Jim Parsons, but it took until last month for it to be confirmed that Mayim Bialik and Melissa Rauch would also be back.

The Big Bang Theory airs on CBS in the US and E4 in the UK.
