Watch Kali Uchis hilarious NSFW reaction to Omar Apollo's oral scene with Daniel Craig in 'Queer'
Bisexual singer-songwriter Kali Uchis reveals she was "shocked" after seeing a particular gay sex scene in Luca Guadagnino's new movie Queer.
In a red carpet interview about her Latin Grammy nomination, Rolling Stone journalist Tomás Mier asked if the "Melting" singer had seen Queer yet, and her answer is too funny.
She said that while she hadn't seen the movie, she knew about a sex scene between Daniel Craig and her friend Omar Apollo.
"I heard that he was getting his dick sucked…like from James Bond," Uchis said with a giant smile on her face.

Queer, an adaptation of William S. Burroughs' semi-autobiographical novel of the same name, is set in 1940s Mexico City and follows expat Lee (Craig), who becomes infatuated with a much younger man (Drew Starkey). In the film, Lee picks up Apollo's character at a bar and takes him back to a seedy motel where the two men have sex.
Like many gay hookups, Apollo's debut acting role started in his Instagram DMs when someone from Guadagnino's team messaged him about the role. "We're on a Facetime call with my manager, and then, he tells me about the role, about the scene, and what I would have to do," Apollo told Indie Wire.
While Uchis said she has yet to see the whole movie, her friend showed her the infamous scene that Apollo told Interview magazine he felt like he had to get in shape for. "Luca did not tell me to lose weight, but when you're about to have a sex scene with Daniel Craig, you're like, 'Oh, dude, I can't be looking off,'" he explained.
"That was shocking. That's all I saw; I don't know anything about the movie," Uchis said.
She was especially "proud" of Apollo for scoring on screen with the hunky 007 actor. "I'm very proud of him. James Bond is a big deal," she quipped.
Queer is in select theaters starting on November 27, 2024.
