How to watch La Liga in the UK: Live stream details for Spanish football on Eleven Sports

La Liga is back, but viewers in the UK will not simply be able to turn on Sky Sports this season to watch all the action as before.

Sky Sports were unwilling to continue paying £18 million per season to extend their long-standing agreement with La Liga and the competition will be shown exclusively on Eleven Sports this term.

Eleven Sports was founded by Leeds United owner Andrea Radrizzani and the company has acquired the rights to the Spanish top flight for this season and two more.

There is currently no Eleven Sports television channel in the UK, meaning all viewing for the foreseeable future will be via apps or over the Internet.

An annual package for will cost fans £49.99 (or £5.99 per month) to watch La Liga, Italy’s Serie A, the Dutch Eredivisie, plus a selection of other sports, with 25,000 hours of action to be broadcast live every year.

Matches can be viewed either on an app (Android or iOS) or via the Eleven Sports website, www.elevensports.uk, although fans will need to sync their telephones, tablets or computers to a television in order to watch games on TV.
