Disney has unveiled a new trailer for Cars 3, and it looks like it's going to be as much rip-roaring fun as the first two – albeit with a pretty nasty crash for our favourite roadster.
See what's in store for Owen Wilson's Lightning McQueen and friends here:
The film's synopsis reads: "Blindsided by a new generation of blazing-fast racers, the legendary Lightning McQueen (voice of Owen Wilson) is suddenly pushed out of the sport he loves.
"To get back in the game, he will need the help of an eager young race technician, Cruz Ramirez, with her own plan to win, plus inspiration from the late Fabulous Hudson Hornet and a few unexpected turns.
"Proving that #95 isn't through yet will test the heart of a champion on Piston Cup Racing's biggest stage!"
The trailer shows McQueen going back to his roots and learning how to beat the flashy new fast-racers with the help of technician Cruz Ramirez.
The sequel also brings back Larry the Cable Guy, Cheech Marin and Bonnie Hunt as all of your favourite autos try to help Lightning back to the top.
The creative team on Cars 3 is led by first-time director Brian Fee, who previously worked on Pixar's Cars 2, WALL·E and Ratatouille as a storyboard artist.
Cars 3 zooms first into US cinemas on Friday, June 16, 2017, and then into UK cinemas on Friday, July 17, 2017.
