Watch: Trump headlines Washington event on fighting antisemitism

Former President Trump delivered remarks at the Israeli American Council’s (IAC) 2024 national conference Thursday evening in Washington, D.C.

Trump headlined the annual conference with a speech honoring the victims of the Oct. 7 attack on Israel by Hamas, which sparked the ongoing war. The former president has attempted throughout his campaign to paint himself as more pro-Israel than President Biden and his Democratic rival Vice President Harris. He previously addressed the IAC conference in 2019 while still in the White House.

The “Fighting Anti-Semitism in America” event also feature Miriam Adelson, the widow of longtime GOP donor Sheldon Adelson, and other Jewish leaders.

“While Kamala Harris has a troubling history of affiliating with individuals and organizations linked to antisemites, President Trump has stood firmly for religious freedom and the protection of all religions,” the former president’s campaign said.
