WATCH: Michael J. Fox Rocks Out On Stage With Coldplay’s Chris Martin

We love it when big stars align, and so when Coldplay invited Hollywood legend Michael J. Fox on stage at the band’s New Jersey gig at the MetLife Stadium, we can imagine it was an epic moment for the crowd.

The 55-year-old actor was enjoying the show like every other fan from the stands when out of the blue, Chris’ son Moses appeared on the big screen and asked the band to play Earth Angel by The Penguins - which Michael performed in his 1985 classic movie Back To The Future.

Moses, 10, said in a video clip: “I was just wondering if you could play a song from both of ours favourite movie, Back To The Future. I love you so much.”

The singer kicked off the track and midway through, called the actor – who suffers from Parkinsons disease – on stage and handed him a guitar. Michael loved every minute of it and rocked out just like his character Marty McFly pictured above did in the movie, when he steps in for the Starlighter’s guitarist who injures his hand at the 1955 school dance.

Chris made Michael stay on for one more song and they launched into Chuck Berry’s 1958 hit Johnny B Goode just like McFly did in the movie.

The musician described the moment as “a dream come true”.
