Angry goose attacks police officer in hilarious viral video

Ferocious footage has emerged of a police officer being attacked by a goose outside a police station in Indiana.

The embarrassing attack on Clarksville Police Department Sergeant Detective Ray Hall was captured on CCTV as the officer was attempting to enter the force's headquarters on 13 April.

The video shows the goose hurtling towards Hall with his wings expanded. Hall then falls over attempting to swat the bird away with his bag as it flies towards him.

Hall can then be seen running down the street, with the goose still chasing him.

The detective managed to escape from the encounter seemingly injured, but perhaps his pride was damaged.

The footage emerged after his colleague Lieutenant Shane Bassett uploaded the film onto YouTube.

A caption on the video reads: "Detective Hall forgot his keys... he then attempts to enter the building and is challenged by our local geese...bad decision.

"Final Score: Geese 1, Detective 0."
