Watch Mount Etna's rolling lava rocks sizzle as they hit snow and ice

The lava rocks tumbled down the side of the volcano, landing feet away from skiers.

Mount Etna is the tallest, most active volcano in Europe, but according to Italy's National Institute of Geophysics and Vulcanology, it currently does not present any danger to people or property.

Watch and listen as the rocks sizzle in the snow.
