With all episodes directed by David Wain (Wet Hot American Summer, The State), the mockumentary-style comedy series follows Danny (Pally), a sad-sack memorabilia dealer who reunites with his former sixth-grade basketball teammate Curry (as himself), who has since become an NBA superstar, to re-ignite the spark in his life after being in debt to the Polish mob.
Mr. Throwback also stars Ego Nwodim, Ayden Mayeri, Tracy Letts, Layla Scalisi, Tien Tran, Rich Sommer and others.
