How to watch Newcastle United vs AFC Wimbledon - TV channel, live stream details, kick off time
Newcastle United eventually have a home cup tie tonight - even if it took freak weather and a collapsed pitch to ensure it happened. Eddie Howe's Magpies finally play their Carabao Cup third-round tie with AFC Wimbledon this evening at St James' Park after last week's scheduled fixture had to be postponed.
Heavy rain caused flooding and saw part of the pitch at the Cherry Red Records Arena damaged last week, meaning the Dons coudn't play on home turf. The game was then switched to Tyneside, with a full house expected at St James' tonight and a tie against Chelsea in round four up for grabs.
Howe has indicated he will play a strong side, but will also make changes from the team which drew 1-1 with Manchester City at the weekend. The likes of Miguel Almiron, Sean Longstaff and Will Osula could all come into the side, with Martin Dubravka expected to start in goal. United will be strong favourites, but Wimbledon would love to claim a Premier League scalp - here's all you need to know.
