Watch This Pilot Make a Perfect Landing With Almost Zero Visibility

This pilot made a perfect landing in shocking conditions amid rain and high wind at the Akron-Canton Airport in Ohio on February 20.

Passenger Josh Stephenson recorded this footage of the Cessna 310 landing smoothly in conditions of almost zero visibility.

Dangerous conditions forced the pilot to fly under “instrument flight rules” which require referencing to instruments rather than visuals, Stephenson said.

The pilot also used an “instrument landing system” which allows pilots to conduct an instrument approach when they are unable to see the runway. Credit: Josh Stephenson ‏ via Storyful
