Watch as PSNI officers remove threatening Boyne Bridge sign
A threatening sign placed at a security fence on the Boyne Bridge has been removed by police officers.
On Sunday, a sign was placed at the security fence at the bridge on Durham Street in Belfast saying "Touch this bridge, beware!" with crosshairs beside the slogan.
It comes after plans were announced to demolish the bridge, which is to be closed for the next 12 months to facilitate works in the area around the new Grand Central Station.

It had been reported that work on demolishing the bridge was due to start, but it is understood that this is not the case. A protest against the plans was held at the bridge on Durham Street on Friday evening with a group of around 30 people gathering to speak out against the proposal.
On Monday afternoon at around 1.30pm, the sign was removed by a number of police officers. A PSNI spokesperson said: "Police are aware of a sign that appeared on Sunday evening, 13th October at a bridge in the Durham Street area of south Belfast.
"Officers will be conducting enquiries and we will continue to engage with local community representatives and partner agencies.
"Anyone who has any information about the sign is asked to contact police on 101 quoting reference number 1540 13/10/24.
"Alternatively, you can report online at https://www.psni.police.uk/report or in confidence through Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111."
