It's January, it's cold and we're broke, so what better way to cheer ourselves up than watching some adorable puppies participate in the ultimate test of their co-ordination and sporting prowess?
To complement Discovery and Eurosport's coverage of the upcoming Olympic Winter Games, they proudly present the Puppy Games.
Watch these four-legged friends take on a series of fun-filled challenges in the build-up to PyeongChang 2018. The participating pups have all been rescued, and permanent loving homes have been found for each of them.
Introducing the competitors...
LET THE GAMES BEGIN!
First up, the puppy equivalent of Torvill and Dean (Maurice and Simone the Pomeranians) head to the ice, dressed in THAT tutu and clearly going for gold...
Next, the terrifying Alpine Ski, and there's some stiff competition between Blenney the King Charles Spaniel and Joker the Shih Tzu. As long as he doesn't get up to any Suicide Squad-like antics, it should all be fine.
Ice Hockey. USA vs Canada, two giants of the sport. This is going to be a RUFF game... (couldn't resist).
The next event: The Ski Jump! We've seen The Jump on Channel 4, so we're going to watch this one through our fingers...
Violet was robbed.
The last event in the 2018 Puppy Games is the Bobsleigh, and Team USA have a lot to answer for #lickgate.
And that's a wrap. What a competition. What cute dogs! Excuse us while we go and binge-watch puppy videos on YouTube and cry into our wine/tea/other beverage of choice.
