Watch runners stream through town in hugely-popular Conwy Half-Marathon
This video shows runners streaming through the streets in the hugely-popular Conwy Half-Marathon. More than 3,000 participants took part last year and there were thousands from North Wales and beyond again this time.
Setting off from near Conwy Quay, they headed along the River Conwy's bank to near Llandudno pier before going around the Great Orme and returning to Conwy in what is a scenic and traditionally fast event. In this video they can be seen pounding through Deganwy along Deganwy Road and Maesdu Avenue en route to the Great Orme.
There were good conditions for running as the weather was cool and dry for the most part although there were wintry showers later in the afternoon. There were delays for drivers while roads were closed for the runners.

Harry Lupton, in the same age group and of Charnwood AC in Loughborough, was second in a time of 1 hr 14 mins 11 secs and James Browne (21-34 years), of Bethesda, Gwynedd, came third in a time of 1 hr 15 mins 6 secs.
In the women's event Keely Smith (41-44 years), of West Cheshire Athletics Club, came first in a chip time of 1 hr 24 mins 37 secs.
