While we've been holding out for that second Star Wars: The Last Jedi trailer to finally drop, one fan has been busy making a brand new trailer of their own – or should we say old?

Yep, the fan – a designer named Pinot – has created a revisioned version of The Last Jedi's first trailer and it's a total throwback to the '80s. And we mean that only in a good way.

Going back to the original hardware and software, Pinot recreated an 8-bit video game-style trailer using an old Apple computer and the programme Dazzle Draw.

Even Kylo Ren would love this one.

The next official trailer for Episode VIII is expected, well, almost any day now, as the BBFC recently classified a "Trailer B" for the movie with a runtime of one minute and 31 seconds.

Some experts have poured cold water on the idea, though, suggesting that "Trailer B" is nothing but a cut-down version of, what we imagine is called, "Trailer A".

After all, it is sort of unlikely that a new trailer for The Last Jedi will arrive before Disney's D23 conference this July. Right?

If a second trailer is on the horizon, then we wonder if it will include Episode IX director Colin Trevorrow's "one little" request to Rian Johnson. Sharing is caring!

"There was one little thing," he recently revealed. "It wasn't an adjustment, it was just, 'Could you shoot this one extra thing while you're in this place on this day?' And he did, which was great."

Star Wars: The Last Jedi will finally enter this galaxy when it opens in cinemas on December 14 in the UK and December 15 in the US.
