Within seconds, Will – who has only known cold metal floors – can be seen running his paws through the soil - completely besotted by his new environment.

The video was released this week by the Ranchos dos Gnomos, a group based in Brazil that rescue domestic, exotic and wild animals from abusive environments.

At the present time the shelter looks after 230 animals from lions to jaguars, sloths and deer – the sanctuary will take animals of any sort.
