Tom Brady taunted with volley of abuse by Ryan Reynolds’s Wrexham fans
Tom Brady might’ve had the last laugh in the Hollywood derby, though it wasn’t all plain sailing for the NFL great.
His Birmingham City ran out 3-1 winners over Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Wrexham in the battle of the celebrities in the lower leagues of British football.
But Brady was given an x-rated welcome by the travelling Wrexham fans, loudly chanting “who the f—ing hell are you?” at the star.
The former quarterback took it in his stride, acknowledging the raucous swearing with a casual thumbs up.
Earlier, Brady and McElhenney had posed up for a pre-match photograph.

And Wrexham’s McElhenney had been stoking the fire for days, unveiling Brady’s one-time foe and fellow NFL giant Eli Manning as a Wrexham fan.

The match itself, played in Birmingham, threatened to be a golden away day for Wrexham after they scored a third-minute opener.
But three unanswered goals from Birmingham extinguished all hopes for the Welsh team.
And the star-studded cast didn’t end with the owners. Watching from the stands with Brady was none other than David Beckham.
