If you're in the mood for a madcap action film that involves a protagonist going on a roaring rampage of killing baddies for some reason or another, we've got just the thing.

Releasing at the start of November, 24 Hours to Live does exactly what it says on the tin. Ethan Hawke's assassin character is brought back to life after being murdered, and is given, well, you get where we're going with this.

The film comes from the people behind the John Wick films, and it's pretty evident in this trailer:

Eagle-eyed viewers among you might notice that the cast includes Game of Thrones' Ser Davos Seaworth himself, Liam Cunningham, and Rutger Hauer, who played Roy Batty in the first Blade Runner (just don't ask him about the second one).

Although this could be a solid cinematic hit in the vein of its Wick-y cousin, 24 Hours to Live is actually being released on video on demand services first, on November 3. There will be a cinema release on December 1.

Speaking of John Wick, that franchise is expanding with not only Chapter Three, but a prequel TV series called The Continental (which may or may not star Keanu Reeves) AND Ballerina, a spin-off movie focusing on a female group of assassins (which is being written by a 23-year old guy).
