Watch Utah Jazz bear mascot teach LA Clippers fan a hilarious lesson in sportsmanship

No-one likes a spoilsport. Least of all when they’re picking on the little guy.

But all too often there’s no-one to stand up for the oppressed minority. To be the voice of sportsmanship.

Enter Jazz Bear.

After the Utah mascot spotted an adult Los Angeles Clippers fan display heinously unsporting conduct towards a young Jazz supporter during an on-court Zorb race on Sunday night he made the most brutal yet heroic of interventions.

Unsurprisingly basketball fans were inspired by Jazz Bear’s noble crusade for justice.

In the minor matter of the crucial playoff basketball match between the Jazz and Clippers it was the hosts that claimed victory, perhaps inspired by their mascot’s heroism.

French centre Rudy Gobert, back after missing two games with a knee injury, led the Jazz in scoring in a 105-98 win that ties the two sides’ best of seven first round series at 2-2.

Elsewhere in the playoffs both the top-seeds, the Western Conference’s Golden State Warriors and East’s Cleveland Cavaliers, swept their opponents to reach the semi-finals.
